well, here it is, my longest comic ever. yes, so now you know the back-story behind the main character. this comic is not supposed to be funny, but instead just show the side of the main character *who is still yet to be named* that you may not have realized existed.

and if you don't know, PTSD stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder...common in Iraq war vets, they usually get it after seeing something crazy go down.

also, a side note to panels 3-4, that is a flashback.

another thing, it always amazes me to see how people (civilians) talk to war vets. they always talk to them as if there is some cool story to hear. however, not every vet likes to talk about that stuff, so i'm just pointing out with this comic that we as civilians need to respect the privacy of those who serve.

Thats....sooooo depressing...considering I'm a Navy Medic. But I suppose its the die hard truth. Still, some people tend to over react to it from what I've seen.

:D Oh I never really did much to anybody yet...oh no..they get to suffer from me much later ^_^. I've just toured a base that had wounded men and women and learned a few things and had to learn psychology so I can help them physically and mentally. The physical is nothing really...the MENTAL part is a kicker. I mean..half the guys I treat could bend me like a toothpick..there HUGE. But I have to re insure them and all that fun stuff. Its tough though, I need to have basically no emotions, but I dont want to lose my compassion for others which driven me to become a medic in the first place. I want to save lives, not end them...although some lives does need a push over the edge T_T
