Gripes On Certain Games...

Fri Jul 17, 2009, 5:48 PM
Ok, I've been playing on the 360 for the past 8+ hours, and i have a few things to say about certain games for it.

For starters, my friends have been telling me about how great Call Of Duty 5 is, and how the best part of the game is Nazi Zombies. I played Nazi Zombies, and to be honest, it didn't live up to what I expected. It was alright, I will admit. Very fun when there's about 4+ people playing. But, it gets repetitive very quickly. Same old thing, every friggin time.

Speaking of the Call of Duty series, COD4 was the best of the COD series both in story mode and multiplayer. Hopefully, COD 6 (aka, COD Modern Warfare 2) will be even better than COD4...and i hear rumors that COD7 will be COD Vietnam...

Also, my friend and I decided to go through some of his old games, and we found Halo 1 and Halo 2. Naturally, we decided to play it. Halo 1, has the best campaign mode of all the Halo series (in my opinion), the best level being 'The Library' on Legendary mode. That level is so much fun to try to beat. The multiplayer aspect of Halo 1 though, was...well, rather dull. The maps are a bit too big, and it just gets kind of boring shooting a guy who looks exactly like you. Halo 2's campaign mode wasn't all that great, that's just me. The gameplay was very clumsy the way Bungie put it together, but it was decent. Multiplayer, once again was a tad bit boring. Halo 3 sucks on campaign mode. It seems as if Bungie spent no time in regards to the campaign maps. It's set up almost identically to Halo 1. I know that the last half of the story takes place on another Halo-like structure, but come on! Get creative! Change the scenery up a little bit. But, the multiplayer for Halo 3 is by far the best of the series, particularly the Forge part. :D Hopefully Halo ODST and Halo Reach will make up for will make up for the crappy ending and story mode in Halo 3. (And, yes I say crappy ending, because we never got to see Chief's face)

*update*
I would like to thank :iconxstrawberryrikux: for reminding me of Left 4 Dead. I can't believe I left that one out.

I myself am a zombie fanatic. I adore any sort of zombie book, movie, game...well, you catch my drift. :P So naturally, Left 4 Dead is just something that I would play. I think the gameplay itself if amazing, mainly because of the fact that the enemies will spawn randomly, and never in the same spot they did before. And let's face it, the graphics aren't that great, but the anticipation for when that next witch or tank might appear makes up for it. If there is one thing I could complain about, it would be the cars. I have a really bad tendency to accidentally shoot them...and you know what happens after. For those that don't know what I'm talking about, a horde of zombies come flooding into your area, and it's nearly impossible to live through it. Particularly on the Hard/Insane difficulty setting. >.<

So, that's my little game rant for you, hope you enjoid...:P

Dam Wasckwy Wabbit!

Wed Jul 1, 2009, 6:32 PM
grr...alrighty, so get this, i've been attempting to hunt this rabbit down for the past month and a half. We first knew that he lived near where we have our garden that is plentiful with lettuce and other things bunnies lyke him find delich! that was back in june. My mom first spotted him, eying our little vegetable garden. My mom then proceeded to tell me to grab my airsoft rifle (keep in mind, i was nowhere near the area at the time, i was playing Halo 3 in my room). so i came out of my room armed with an airsoft rifle and full mags. My mom then lead me outside where she ordered me to shoot the 'damn rabbit.' My mom went back inside, and i began to wrestle with myself. i was worried that if i shot him, i might injure him, which is almost worse than killing him, as he would die slower. my dad came out and told me, 'look, if you're too scared to shoot, just shoot his butt, and he'll run off.' even then i was reluctant. i fired 3 warning shots real close to him. he didn't flinch. finally i popped 2 rounds into his butt. both bounced off his big bunneh behind (as an airsoft rifle can't kill bunnies, we were just trying to scare him off), and he looked my way, flicked up his tail and casually hopped away. the next morning, all the tasty lettuce was nommed up, as the bunneh wasn't scared off. My mom was pissed at me, and my dad thought it was absolutely hilarious, that his 'I wanna join the Marine Corps' son was too scared to shoot a rabbit. Thoroughly embarrassed, i vowed to myself that i wouldn't let that friggin rabbit get away with embarrassing me like that. I've been on the look out for him since. Finally, today, after nearly 4 weeks of searching, i accidentally stumbled onto the sucker. i was playing baseball by myself, you know, just tossing the ball in the air, and hitting it with a bat. I hit a fly ball and it landed near the hedgerow our front. I went to find the ball, baseball bat in hand, and who should i run into, but that same bunny. We both kind of looked at each other in shock, neither of us knowing what to do, when finally the rabbit bolted and i began swinging the bat above my head, screaming like a madman, chasing the rabbit. It must have looked ridiculous to the people who were walking by the front of our house, at the time i was chasing the rabbit. I began taking swings at the rabbit in my berzerker rage, and i came very close to bringing the bat down on top of his head. I'd guess around two inches away from it. Had he not gone to the right, he would be one dead little bunny. After around 2 minutes of chasing the rabbit, he finally found his hole and ran into it. Upon seeing where his hole was, i ran back into my house, grabbed my airsoft rifle, fired two magazine's worth of rounds into the hole (800 bb's) and Zippo'd (torched) a little bit of the inside of the hole with some WD40 and a match. Needless to say, i don't think that rabbit will be screwing around with our garden again....

Art Trade Anybody?

Sat Jun 27, 2009, 10:41 AM
As of right now...I really want to do an art trade with someone, so if you have a character you'd like me to integrate with something i draw, please feel free to let me know. However, if I have to integrate something you want me to draw in my normal stuff, you need to do the same thing for me too. Seem fair? Good, I'm glad we see eye to eye on this one.

I'm also taking requests. But they will NOT be colored as I hate taking the time to color.

So if you're interested, just let me know! :D

geh...dumb car

Tue Sep 23, 2008, 7:36 PM
ya...my dad wuz pickin me up from school when apparently the rear right tire blew out...so he made me change the tire while he sat in the car listening to the radio and with the AC on...yeah...anyway the tire bolts wouldn't come off cuz they were put on pretty tight...and i ended up having to put the wrench or whatever, parallel to the ground, attached to the anti-theft bolt and began to jump on it...and i made myself look like an idiot in front of a bunch of hot chics...which made me a little bit irritated...but...i got the spare tire on, no trouble at all...and i looked kinda cool too...fixing a car like that...and btw...i can fix cars ex. engines (at least minor repairs...nothing major like working on transmission). I can also fix bikes, which comes in handy at my friend's houses as they don't take very good car of their bikes at all... >:( anyway...in the end of it...i looked kewl in front of a bunch of chics...but to top it off, no one offered to help me out...
